Very interesting wine! Blackberry, plum and raspberry provide the dark and red fruit with lavender, black olive, mushroom, damp earth (funk), crushed gravel and sweaty saddle (a little more funk). Over the two+ hours of drinking this wine my opinion changed a dozen times as the barn yard funky aromas came and went. Medium body and medium acidity. On the palate this wine is round and dry, but not overly so with leather, barnyard and a nutty (chestnut) savoriness (perhaps some beef broth) on the medium length finish. There is definitely an underlying funk to this wine, however, when the fruit and floral notes shine through it is quite good. A unique experience.

this is really not my style of wine...very high in acid and lacking fruit for my liking.
