Dinner with the wine group (Spruce, SF): Aromatic, lemon, a bit of fennel spice; palate is medium-full bodied, exceptionally vibrant acidity, superb mouthfeel and balance, medium alcohol, lemon cream, plenty of minerality and crispness without heading all the way to Chablis; finish is very long. This is clearly a top tier white burgundy. 94

I believe this was the last vintage before he changed to the 28 months on lees - quite reductive and chalky with lots of tropical fruit and biting acidity. Mouthfeel is coarse and powerful. Quite enjoyable but will need more air to really breathe everything in. I gotta say, i'm really enjoying the top end of 2013 white burgundy, there's a brashness to it (with acidity) that I enjoy.

This was drinking really well. Peaches, pears, green apples, and a fine line of acidity to keep it all together. On day two it was still drinking well, but seemed to get rounder. I am going to enjoy drinking this over the next couple of years.

Luis' "Bring a very good bottle" event (St. Genevieve): Drank a small pour at a tasting. Smoky, lemon, light, with a slight chaulky ash flavor/texture. Some funk, with dank earthiness (Rocknroller said it, and I completely agree, very DANK)

Pale gold color, rich, high acidity. Developing very positively in the glass. Can drink now but has potential for further ageing nd ends with 94.
