Dinner at Coulisse (Amsterdam, NL): [Restaurant purchase] This is among the best white wines I’ve ever had. Absolutely stunning in its elegance and purity. Hint of reduction, very fine use of oak, great quality of fruit, popcorn, butter, but very elegant. Medium+ acidity, very long finish. 95-96
My notes say: Wow, wow, wow. That sums it up

Opened last night at dinner, recorked, and poured the remaining 4oz the next day after dinner, when this note was taken. This is quite a bit softer and more elegant on the nose than the '17 Caillerets poured along side it. This is expressing more of that incredible Lamy-Caillat elegance that always has me describing these wines as "confident," and overall fairly unique and singular. Soft palate entry, and again this is quite a bit smoother and more integrated than the '18... quite elegant and smooth, showing beautifully integrated acidity without the intense waxiness. Really beautifully caressing palate, showing lots of grace. Lovely citrus bloom on the finish, which is very intense but also unfolds like a blooming orchid, slowly and gracefully over several seconds before leaving the impression of intensity the wine offers.

Champagne Bookclub---bring a top shelf + a still: Opened yesterday, and of note, tasting alongside the 2018 Roulot Cd Boucheres. Both have had the same aeration, retasting in the same setting at a cool temp. Some new wood is present, both in the aroma (and palate). It's a decent seasoning but not overwhelming. Aroma of white flower along with some light reduction. On the palate, some toast, lemon oil, pear and green apple, with a cleansing of mineral into the finish. There is a lot of raw material here, yet the wine remains middle-weighted and even has a show of elegance. I suspect this is young, and that it will settle in time but drinking this kind of wine reminds me of stuff that I would call 'classy', that makes me think appreciate how good Chardonnay can be.

Drank from a magnum. Beautiful nose, not too buttery, quite precise. The mouth follows less, because it's a bit too young. No 080\120

Completely lost in the region that this wine comes from C-M. I guessed Meursault. Creamy, not too reductive. In a very good drinking window. 96
