  Good blackcurrant and bramble fruit. Medium plus weight. Punchy oak vanilla gives a slightly hard dry finish. Robust structure. Overall a little rough. Drinking now, may improve over the next decade.

  Pronounced on the nose with violet, blackcurrant, blackberry, black cherry, black plum, raspberry, mint, licorice, cedar, vanilla, charred wood, leather, prune, tobacco, earth and dried blackcurrant. Developing.
  
  Pronounced and dry on the palate. High acidity, high tannins, medium plus body, high alcohol, long finish.
  
  Can drink now but has potential for aging.

  A beautifully developed Cab Sauv blend with an incredible concentration of fruit, toasty notes of well-integrated oak, and all the notes of fine age: leather, tobacco, cognac-laced prunes. The finish is long and concentrated. It is very good value for a wine this good.
