On first pour oak dominates the nose with some fruit poking through. The acidity on the palate keeps things fresh. Good complexity and balance, with high firm tannins. After a decant the oak really settles in, everything becomes very cohesive.
Medium ruby colour.
Pronounced aromas of vanilla, red cherry, raspberry, black berry, black currant, green pepper, cinnamon, clove, leather, cigar box, coffee grinds, mint, dried oregano, a hint of violet.
Pronounced palate.
Medium (+) body, medium (+) acidity, high tannin, long finish.

This is the kind of richness, freshness and complexity I hope for when buying a premium Cabernet dominated blend. Structured and balanced and not commercial in any way.
Aromas are subtle and precise with red cherries, violet and tobacco.
Tannins are firm but not bitter. Acidity lingers. Alcohol shows perfect integration. The 22 months in French Oak creates a soft and yet full wine.
Flavours of ripe cherry, mocha, earth and balsamic.
93(+?)pts. This is still too young, and needs lots of air at this point, which unfortunately I could not provide it. But even a bit closed it was possible to see it is a really well-made wine. Although there is no sense of place here, this is a really good Bordeaux blend - balanced, long, complex, and with ripe tannins. Worth its price, but there are better options in Chile.

Red fruit, cherries, some acidity. Not a lot of tannins. I miss the wow factor of this wine.
