Not sure about this one. More burgundy than CA in style. Chalky minerality, with tart cherry. Nothing plump or round here. Medium bodied at most. Solid midpalate, but short finish. I like the style, but lacks something to make it compelling. Still, it's elegant. Tastes like a solid $25-30 burgundy to me, not that those offer great value. Still a good QPR on closeout. 88-89?

Wow this is outstanding for $10 on close-out. Old world mouthfeel meets new world flavor profile. Expressive nose of black cherry and a bit of clove. Almost weightless through the midpalate with raspberry flavors and nice acidity. Flavors kick in on the lengthy finish, dark cherries, baking spices and a hint of cola. Would still be a good value at 3x this price.
