Medium ruby with medium intensity red fruit nose of black plum. Dry with medium acidity and medium tannin. High alcohol with medium intensity red fruit (believe it or not) palate. The finish is medium for an overall good assessment.

Cabernet Sauv from Australia. Dark crimson, classic cabernet notes of cassis and dark fruit. Pleasant tobacco also. Excellent qpr, and good daily drinker, just not offering anything overly complex - which wasn't the promise either. Interesting that 20% of this wine is produced in Amarone style - drying the fruit, which lends itself to a velvety texture.

Has some minty Cabernet lift to the aromas. More mineral than minty. 'You can see the ocean from the vineyards.' Clay over limestone. This is 20% Amarone-style. Serpico is 100% Amarone-style.

Good, but tasted better from earlier years. Little medium body, expecting something bigger.
