Tasted blind against two other Rhône blends, this came out in the middle. Lighter than the others, this wine was less suited to food but very nice to sip on its own. Mineral driven with hints of blackberry, this is a dry wine that takes a while to open up but has a nice finish once it does.

Spice, violet and easy red fruits on the nose and palate. Night 1 was less easy, with pepper dominating, while on night 3 it integrated well, while still remaining spicy. Very Good.

I just love this wine. Spice and sandalwood dominate the nose. Seductive. Palate is easygoing Grenache with spice and violets. Would get crushed in a side by side with any competently made CDP. But left by itself with food it makes your life a little better. Very Good.

Deep ruby in color, this wine reveals anise, iron, white pepper and blackberry on the nose. The mouth feel is medium bodied with more iron and white pepper elements as well as raspberry compote undertones. The finish is somewhat short but the abundant acidity keeps the 14% abv well in the background.
Purchased for $13US, this is decent offering with no hard edges. It has minimal complexity but its flavor profile makes it very drinkable.

Negotiant Imported Wines (Marriot on Pitt Street, Sydney): Ripe red fruit, little sweet spice, touches of baked earth, quite peppery on the palate.
