Tasted a lineup of 2015-2020 Cartology. 17 and 19 were the clearly the best wines, showing most elegantly and balanced. 18 and 16 showed as quite developed, and I would start drinking them now. 15 was for me too high in alcohol and not in the greatest shape, definitely drink up. All wines were quite intense with yellow apple, ripe pear, some spice, noticeable oak and alcohol and a bit of grip and an oily texture.

Light gold colour. Aromas of honey, orange barley, a touch of vanilla, and a waxy note. It’s powerful but lifted. Rich and creamy on the palate, the orange character comes back in the form of tinned mandarins. Long and very intense. Excellent.

Interesting, and certainly very good. Not gold, not yellow; right in between. Fresh melon in the nose. Also something else that was not so easy to ID, but nice. Very enticing and attractive. Lots of acid, but appropriate to the fruit level. This would match well with food. In fact, I'd call it a food wine, but it is also delicious by itself. 4-13-16-8: 91/100.

Last bottle and still just as good even if it has changed expression a bit. Very deep and charming. Lots of perfume. Good if not great body. Balanced and big. Love this wine!

[Not tasted blind as I brought the bottle] Another great bottle by Chris Alheit. Deep lemon in color with medium intensity aroma’s of lemon, yellow apple, peach, clove, ripe fruit, vanille, hazelnut, beewax and honey. High acidity, medium alcohol, medium body, medium+ flavor intensity with a saline touch to it, long finish with some sherry notes.
