Feared that this was over the hill but it was quite nice. The fruit was still decent, but the style was overall rather buttery with vanilla and mild oak. This might have been fruitier when younger. I happen to like the style of this wine (as it is now), so I enjoyed it. There was sufficient acidity remaining to keep it crisp and prevent it from being flabby. If you've got some, I would drink it fairly soon.

Pear and fig on the nose. Green apple, salted butter, and a slight lemon twang on the end. It's not overly oaked but leans slightly to the cedar side of that scale. On the average side of good and there others in the price range that are better.

(ACACIA CARNEROS CHARDONNAY) #2; COLOR-medium golden; NOSE-really pretty Pear; buttered Popcorn; dandelion; candy aspect; TASTE-really impressed w/ the Fig flavor; buttery & oaky, but has nice acidity & crispness on the finish; slight pears; solid; not an great value, but it's better than many $20 Chards; GV-88+

Green apple, then lemon. light at finish. not sure about the QPR. tried at a tasting. it's very good, but not sure it's worth the $25 asking price...

Good balance, floral/fruity nose. Light and crisp. Good match with chicken and fish dishes.
