Aromas of black and red currant mixed with toasty oak, pencil shavings, and hints of eucalyptus, coffee and cocoa lead to a similar palate with a pleasant, medium length finish. This has medium, fine grained tannins, medium body and medium acidity. It almost reminds me of some left bank Bordeaux without the earthy dirt and a bit more fruit presence. I would say this is very good, especially if you like the cooler climate feel of Margaret River Cabernets. It's nicely complex with a good transition of flavors.

Nose slow to open (but not decanted). Deep purple-crimson. Strong fruity entry with full-bodied palate of cassis, currants and dark chocolate. Sturdy but fine-grained tannins. Impeccably structured and with the tannins behind it to ensure a long cellar life. I think I will open the next bottle in 2012. 93 points

Cassis and graphite nose. Smooth palate with fine tannin. Elegant. Needs more complexity to be really great. Still some life in it.

Too young. Primary, unevolved. Great potential. Hold.

Cedar, blackberry nose. Palate is youthful with vibrant fruit and plenty of tannin.
