Slightly dark color, but happily not oxidized. Ample fruit balanced by mineral on palate. Wet clay aroma. With air, this became unmistakably Meursault in character with lemon custard notes. Finish longer than Villages level. A solid showing from a wine that is often afflicted by premox.

Oxed take 2. These are too pricey given the uneven quality

Oxed. Opened two of my 2005s and one of my 2007s all in a row and all were oxed. Ugh

Oxidised. Deep colour an immediate sign. Retained good concentration and length but no complexity and not at all what it should have been. -
