This wine is starting to drink very well. It still has great pure ruby colour and a lovely aroma which is very inviting.
The palate is drenched in ripe cherry, plum, and raspberry fruits with some spice, herbs, vanilla and licorice. There is ample support from rounded tannins and some cleansing acidity. Absolutely delicious and excellent value for this level of Pinot.
The wine is maturing very well and has a few years left, perhaps more, but its too enjoyable now to let it languish for very much longer.

Baking spice, five spice, burnt cherry, redish plum, cola. Palate introducing darker fruits and savoury notes, creamy long finish with grippy oak. Yummy stuff, very well made wine.
3-5 years left in this baby.

Very herbal and spicy - typical new wolrd Pinot. Med/low acidity and medium finish. Good wine, but far from a classic pinot. Drink now or in 2 years - this is not for cellaring.

New Zealand London Annual Trade Tasting (Lindley Hall, Royal Horticultural Halls): Attractive nose at first, red fruit and some spices, a bit of oak.
The palate shows red fruit again, spices, sweet, light and easygoing in general, niec acididy, med body, short to med finish
