Rare Wine Dinner - Australian Treasures: Apple compote, some aged signs with cocoa and sherried notes but there is excellent perfume and some brioche. The palate has plenty of age to it as well but the acidity still zings and lends a real freshness to the wine even at this stage of its life.

The best 88 Champagnes from 1988 Part 2/3; 10/20/2018-10/21/2018 (L'assiette champenois): In this flight the ripest one in the nose, in the palate fresher, missing length, some subtle oxidative notes. 92

City Club Fort Worth Wine Event (City Club Wine Room - Fort Worth): Dark golden in color; nose upon pour was green apple but that changed over to a more nutty, earthy nose as it warmed; then figs and toast; very enjoyable

Acker Merrall and Condit's second auction (Chicago Elysian Hotel): Fine straw gold, fine bead, faint patina of age, on the palate, rich, butterscotch, lemon, lingering sweetness. (Acker Merrall and Condit's January auction Chicago)

Acker Merrall Second Chicago Auction (Elysian Hotel - Chicago IL): Rather mature aromas. More advanced flavors than fresh fruit, but still lots of good textures and acidity helping from middle through finish.
