Still rich and full bodied on 2/2/13. Heavy weight, medium tannins. We poured and let it sit about 45 mins before sipping. Lots of spice and heat from the alcohol. Deep color, no rim separation yet. Well integrated black fruit flavors, ripe. Not at all vegetal and no oak hints.

Bought at winery 12/31/12. Very nice wine, but overpriced for what it is. Plenty of blackberries, some cassis, dried herbs, Cedar/Oak and relatively smooth but the tannins still have plenty of backbone and are drying. As this wine got into its 4th hour, some sour black cherries started to emerge and the tannins became even more drying in your mouth. A well made wine that should have another 3 to 5 quality years left in it.

Gorgeous cab. Balanced (hints of berries, spice, and earth), structured tannins, excellent mouth feel. Served with steak; food enhanced the complexity of the wine. Definitely at its peak.

Black fruits, black cherry, cassis and graphite dominate the nose leading to a palate with good grip more black cherry and allspice. A lingering finish will bring you back for more. Solid and drinking well with an hour decant.

I'm not a big Cab fan but with prime rib for Xmas dinner, why not. I found this wine to have a nice balance of tannins and fruit. On the nose, dark fruit, some mocha. The dark fruit continued on the palate with really mellow tannins and enough acidity to cut through the fattiness of the beef. Reasonably well balanced with little flabbiness. Was not the typical Cali Cab that are usually overoaked and overpriced.
