I was afraid I'd let this one lie way too long, but it was fine. Certainly showed no bad effects of aging: It still tasted pretty fresh, if a little short. It did not have much length. In fact, it was a lighter-bodied wine than I had expected it to be. It offered a nice panoply of Napa Cabernet Sauvignon flavors, including some very pretty fruit that was still there. Not an epic bottle, but still, a very well-made wine.

This wine has aged quite well. I was surprised how much it still needs to open. Tried at 15 minutes and later at 2 hrs. Two totally different wines. The one characteristic that was continuous was the bright cherry nose. After opening up the mid pallet is good but slightly muted graphite and earthy stone. A nice but also slightly muted vanilla finish that could of been longer. Overall it's a really good wine. It was worth waiting on.

may have been too old or defective. There was something odd in the middle of each sip. Left it out for awhile to see if it changed but nothing. There was some mold under the foil but no leakage through cork.

Easily on par with Hall & Kenefick. Needs ~3 hours to open up. Big, bold, warm, complete. Good fruit notes.
