Red fruits, herbs, and spice with great acidity. Quite good and drinking great right now. Had another bottle 2/18/24 - the juvenile is one of the greatest bargains around. Similar notes to 1/9/24 -delicious!

Aromas of red and black fruit. Dark cherries and spice on the palate. Very harmonious with fruit dying down versus earlier bottles. Don't see this getting better - drink up.

blackberry, gravel, buttercream. This wine is plush, but lacks much character at this stage. Good acid, alcohol in check (this is admittedly a feat for Turley), fine grain tannins. Overall good balance and drinks very well, just not much complexity.

Over delivers for their entry level bottle. Jammy red fruits, herbs, and a layer of oaky undertones.
Palate is balanced and doesn't feel too weighty (especially at cellar temp) despite the alc content.
While I'm not sure this is going to improve with more age, I don't see this fading away anytime soon so no rush on this bottle.

Still drinking beautifully, especially as it opened up after 90 minutes or so. Blackberry, wild sage, back pepper. Very well-integrated for 15.5%.
