This is coming along nicely, just starting to soften out. Medium+ bodied. Ripe dark fruits, cassis, menthol and dark chocolate, supported by the savouriness of french oak. Very good depth of flavour and mouth feel - a bit of acidity lurking there, but otherwise a very good drink. No rush on these at all.

14 Taylors St Andrew’s Enjoyed on a very chilly Adelaide night. Thick, unctuous, and full bodied. Enough savoury and herbal detail to keep it interesting. After a few hours more, and brighter, fruit detail emerged from behind the charred and creamy oak. This is built to last a very long time. Eucalyptus on the nose and through the finish a souvenir of its region. Big big company wine done well. Good example of its style, with great length to add to its full bodied power. 93. Now to 7 years.
