30 min decant. Deep ruby magenta color. Sweet red raspberry, lemon chiffon and subtle spearmint on the light, fruit forward nose. Smooth palate with subtle acidity. Soft tannins on the medium finish. Quaffable, easy drinker, great QPR and relatively simple all at the same time.

I have edited this...a US $10 wine purchased in St. Martin in Feb 2017 (pre-hurricane). Wasn't expecting much, and the first night seemed to confirm that and we left half in the bottle for reasons??? Second night, this outperformed the price and is the reason for our 87 rating. Basically a decent Cotes for not much $$$. There was some indication of perhaps Syrah and other varietals the second night. Tells me another year on this or several hours of decanting would make this entry level wine a better experience. Hold until 2019.

We've been drinking CDR Janasse for over 10 years. This is a reliable well-made wine with no pretense

Naso molto maschile. Alcoolico, rustico, acido ma anche tannico e ruvido ma comunque tipico. Abbinato con pollo tandoori ci sta.
