Beautiful nose. Soil and black fruits on the palate. Full body. Tannin already dissolved within the wine to make it so balance. Such cru bourgeois perform very well after 13 years of aging.

Chef Benoit Witz Dinner (Minikahda Club, Minneapolis): Black core, deep thick blood red color. Fabulous nose of black licorice, plums, cassis, and smoke. The palate doesn't follow through, revealing light black fruits along with some tobacco and earth. Medium body and a moderate finish, with well-integrated tannins.
