Domaine Barge Cote-Rotie 2015 Cote-Brune. Traditional made ( maybe it's the first vintage of Julien Barge, I didn't know if it's correct). Dark red color, brambleberry, black currant and pepper in the nose. Well structured tannins with some black raspberry in the mouth. Nice acidity and overall accessible at the moment. Remember it's young ! For a Cote-Brune sure not a blockbuster. I will compare it with the cote-blonde this week.
Cheers !

1 hr in the decanter. Approachable now with all primary flavors and aromas - smoked meats, red and black fruits. Tannins were polished and not too firm for its age. A nice preview into things to come. 2025 onward should provide optimal drinking.

The Real McCoy - this stinks of Côte Brune.Olives galore, black fruit, tannins, 2015 speaks here, but with floral notes as well. Much too young. still we drank it with pleasure. #BoutdeMonde#PB

Quite good. A combination of cherries and lighter berry fruit, with a hint of savoury meaty barnyard, good energy. Well balanced throughout, and tasty too.
