  • Completely agree with redbrix review. Candidly only just ok, andthe sort of style and execution which has put some many people off anything made from chardonnay

  • Seymour Wine Club Meeting 10/28/17 (Home of the Alapatt's): Tasted blind. Aromas of kumquat, mineral and tropical fruit. Flavors of tropical fruit, lime and slate. Had a nice finish of 25 seconds. I had this pegged as a Viognier because it was cold and that's what it really tasted like. Certainly not a Chardonnay. I had this tied for 3rd and it was the group's 4th favorite of the night. I tasted this after the big reveal when it had some time to warm up and it changed quite a bit. Definitely not a Viognier at that point and would have dropped my score. So the secret here is to keep it really cold and this can be a really nice, inexpensive wine.

  • Very pale gold color and very clear. Interesting nose of butter, lemon meringue and almonds. Flavor was more like butterscotch and slightly syrupy. Basic and just ok.

  • Very pale color, fairly assertive nose, dominated by apple. More apple in the flavor profile, with some peach thrown in. Quite fruity, medium-bodied, dry, but not astringent, a fair dose of oak that is very complimentary to the fruit without being overwhelming. A moderate amount of acidity. A bit lighter than I would prefer, but, all in all, a really outstanding wine in its price range. You could drink this with food, but if you are looking for a pleasant, inexpensive sipping wine you will not go wrong with this. Very impressed. Better than many Chardonnays selling for twice the price, or more. And it tastes like Chardonnay! Highly recommended.
