Completely agree with redbrix review. Candidly only just ok, andthe sort of style and execution which has put some many people off anything made from chardonnay

Seymour Wine Club Meeting 10/28/17 (Home of the Alapatt's): Tasted blind. Aromas of kumquat, mineral and tropical fruit. Flavors of tropical fruit, lime and slate. Had a nice finish of 25 seconds. I had this pegged as a Viognier because it was cold and that's what it really tasted like. Certainly not a Chardonnay. I had this tied for 3rd and it was the group's 4th favorite of the night. I tasted this after the big reveal when it had some time to warm up and it changed quite a bit. Definitely not a Viognier at that point and would have dropped my score. So the secret here is to keep it really cold and this can be a really nice, inexpensive wine.

Very pale gold color and very clear. Interesting nose of butter, lemon meringue and almonds. Flavor was more like butterscotch and slightly syrupy. Basic and just ok.

Very pale color, fairly assertive nose, dominated by apple. More apple in the flavor profile, with some peach thrown in. Quite fruity, medium-bodied, dry, but not astringent, a fair dose of oak that is very complimentary to the fruit without being overwhelming. A moderate amount of acidity. A bit lighter than I would prefer, but, all in all, a really outstanding wine in its price range. You could drink this with food, but if you are looking for a pleasant, inexpensive sipping wine you will not go wrong with this. Very impressed. Better than many Chardonnays selling for twice the price, or more. And it tastes like Chardonnay! Highly recommended.
