Pinot Noir at Moncur (Bistro Moncur, Sydney): pretty cherry and berry fruit with almost a touch of stone fruit here…juicy, tangy, pretty fruits, softly approachable, very primary and very pleasant.

The Reveur spends 21 months on oak, resulting in lifted vanillan notes on the nose and through the palate. The fruits are darker, and tighter and quite muscular in nature. There is good depth and nicely layered complexity through the mid-palate. The tannins are silky and supple and the wine has a nice long finish. Very nice.
