-Bottle opened at cellar temperature (54°) but decanted warming to approximately (60°) -Cork in excellent condition, 1 mm wine bleed -Decanted for ½ hour -Color: Light straw. -Nose: Lemon curd up front with syrupy, sweet after tones. -Palate: Not a lot of fruit, lot of minerality showing; like licking the outside of a cantaloupe. Wood-sandalwood/oak on the back palate. Light medium mouth feel with medium acidity and a medium finish. -Food Pairing: Paired with salmon -Overall: Feels like this wine still not hit its stride yet, still some time left and looking forward to the next bottle as I hope the score would be better. Will try to serve it a bit warmer as that may help.
