Medium deep scarlet, nose is just like a Dunham Cab - bright acidity - bright red fruit - on the cherry side, but nice. This will last a while yet, but I don't really see it improving.

The wine was a little tight straight out of the bottle, but after half an hour of decanting, opened up nicely. Soft tannins and supple fruit were exposed but then faded after about an hour. Very pleasant.

Red Mountain Tour (Red Mountain, Washington): The nose is unique with distinct black olive scents working with blackberries, and a hint of jalapeño pepper! Light leather is wrapping the rich, juicy blackberries that start everything out. Some cool acid shows well on the mid palate giving a tart sensation that lingers. The tannins are dusty, and they stick around for a good length of time as well. The fruit is big here, and the texture is already quite soft.

Good acidity, soft tannins. Think this was nearing peak, as I don't see it improving much from here.
Good dark fruit, red mountain earth, raspberry, cherry, some leather. Overall an outstanding wine.

Strong powerful nose. Still solids acids move through a long finnish. Excellent food wine. Age has only improved this underrated blend.
