Wow. Full bodied, almost over the top with fruit. Sweet black cherry, cassis, vanilla, a touch of dark chocolate. Great pairing with pot roast and mashed yukons, but even better alone. Sad this is my last bottle of Onyx.

I'm really sorry this is my last bottle. Deep, dark red fruit and coffee. Very intense for a blend, yet not overly cabby. This wine is really tasty and drinking very well at this time.

Flat out delicious. The nose offers up vanilla, mocha, dark, ripe fruit and then delivers a palate that is deep, layered and very rich. Opulent even. The red mountain fruit is very grainy and tannic, but I think this is at its apex right now and ready to drink. Brimming with blackberries, and black currant along with just the right amount of sweet baking spices, and then ends with touches of leather and tobacco. Highly recommend.

Really nice fruit. We enjoyed this at the Spokane Keg & Vine and picked up 3 bottles. This will age gracefully but I was suprised how good it was already in Dec. 2010.
