  Decanted for 7 hours, corked it and refrigerated it overnight, then let it breathe for 7 hours the following day. Still a bit tannic, but the tannins were soft and rather pebbly. This is a very good wine, and showed alot of rose petal, cigar leaf, cherry jam, was quite floral with a generous and expansive nose, and had some funk, truffles, dark fruit, and other earthy elements.
  
  I like this wine alot. Will come back to it in a few more years.
