Solo bottle picked up from a local shop N - honey dew, floral , spearmint and then hazelnut. M - lively acidity which makes this better than most of the higher end white burgs of recent memory. Great combo of fruit, body, and acidity. Reminds me why I’m going down this path in the first place. Not a cheap bottle but recommended.

A: Medium lemon-green N: Vanilla, peach, asian pear, yellow apple, butter, baking spice, hazelnuts Developing. Pronounced intensity. P: Dry, medium (+) acid, full body, medium (+) alcohol , intensity and long finish. Delicious. Very good quality. Drink now or hold for greater complexity.
Guesses: The fruit seemed so ripe that i assumed this was from a warmer climate. I thought the insane amounts of oak and the strong stone fruit aroma turned me to New World. I thought it could be a Chardonnay or a Viognier.
Mistakes: The saltiness , i associated with the butter of the MLF rather than oyster shells. I imagine NW Viognier doesn't undergo MLF as it would kill the naturally low acid content.

Beautifully balanced. Appley, buttery, oaky richness; shot through with a mineral core and lovely acidity.
