Domaine Comte Lafon Volnay-Champans 2015.
Et par timer med luft gjør susen her.
Nydelig på duft med masse spice og mørk frukt.
Et vakkert streif med Pinot-parfyme gjør den lettere og til og med elegant.
God intensitet.
Saftig kraftig frukt i anslaget.
Flott kvalitet på frukten - konsentrert og helt ren med superb friskhet.
Dette drikker da ganske bra nå!
Vil riktignok tippe den vil både utvikle seg og holde svært lenge.
Ved release føltes det som 2015 skulle ta en evighet før den blir tilnærmelig.
Etter noen fine opplevelser i det siste, vil jeg si 15 har begynt å røre på seg.
Lineær kurve og en lang finish.
Ikke mye kanter her, men i finishen kjenner man tanninene bre seg godt ut.
Dette er en utmerket innsats fra Lafon. 93p

On opening, tight, cool and restrained but everything is there in near perfect balance. juicy tart vibrant acid.
after 2 hours it opened up a little. mute automatically but the weight was very satisfying. spicy and oaky.
long life ahead. very pleasant for a wine that is at least a decade from hitting its stride.
... enjoyed second half of the bottle a night later. Far more powerful and not as reserved. Intense concentrated black fruit graphite nose. Spicy ... sandalwood? Tannic and mouthfilling. Very concentrated. Long life ahead. Fresh.
