Aromas of dark fruits (cassis, blackberry). Mouthfeel is dense and juicy. Very fruity, flavors of black currants, blackberry, even some prunes, along with some smoke and leather. Tannins are soft. For all it's fruit, you get the sense that this wine has some age and that you should be planning to drink it fairly soon. Has that aged wine edge that I'm not sophisticated enough to use a descriptor for, but that I last experienced in a 20 year old Bordeaux. Excellent.

Distinctively and obviously Chilean on the nose. Earthy smoke over bright currant, blueberry and blackberry and flowers; aromatic, gorgeous nose. Light to medium bodied in the mouth, maybe even a little thin, but turns it on again with a powerful and juicy finish. Good ripe tannins give it a nice structure. Overall an exceptional wine.

Good for what it is. Not my preferred style. Too heavy. Dark fruit. Typical overseas. But everybody else thougt it was very good.

Good for what it is. Nice balance. No heat showing. Will keep the remaining bottles and see where it ends up.
