Community Tasting Notes (1) Avg Score: 89 points

  • Tasted blind. Clear, medium ruby. The nose is clean, youthful, with red flowers, red fruit and a hint of bubble gum. There is no perceptible oak, although the back label says it sees six months. The palate is dry, but with plenty of nice fruit. Medium (+) acidity, medium tannins and medium alcohol (12.5%). This wine is remarkably well balanced, easy-drinking and a pretty good value at $25.00. IMHO it could have been a Cru Beaujolais or Cab Franc from the Loire. Drink now or for the next couple of years.
