Dark purpleish red with just a touch of age on the rim. Light intensity nose with red fruits, touch of oak, cedarwood, tobacco. Palate is medium bodied, easily accessible and friendly with more red fruits, chocolate, just your classic Bordeaux profile. Not very complex, but nice grippy tannins on the finish. Drinks well now, keeps for a while too. Nice "everyday" Bdx.

Popped and poured, beautiful. Fruit, acid, tannin in harmony. Quite a magic act for a wine at this price point. 2016 a great year that floated many boats. Let's see what night two has in store...

Still trying to figure out if I'm a Pessac fan. This had aromas of nutmeg, tobacco, pepper, flowers, and tamarind. Flavors of juicy soft plum, tomato leaf, almond, and cedar. Medium plus dry tannins with medium finish. I need more fruits here.

Deep ruby, not quite opaque Quite tart upon opening, But this opens up quite nicely with an hour of air, Fairly ripe red and dark fruit Nice acidity, moderate tannins in the finish. Probably better with a bit more time, but so fresh now

Dark blackcurrant. Deeply ripe and savoury rather than fruity style.
Well made. Fully ripe but correct alcohol, reflecting the quality of the 2016 vintage.
