Medium ruby. Smelled tobacco, blackberry, cassis, and some spice; the taste confirms the spice and fruit. Medium body with balanced acid and tannin, just adequate intensity, and a medium fruity finish. Scratches the "modern Bordeaux" itch nicely.

(44% Cabernet Sauvignon, 44% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc, 2% Petit Verdot, 13% Alkohol) Kräftiges Rubinrot.

Colour: med deep red, thin rim but with hint of brown which is surprising. Nose: full, fresh, quite ripe although a touch rustic, leads with cassis, then plum notes Taste: light body, rounded but a touch dusty in spite of standing up the bottle for a day, q good fruit, v tannic, med finish, dry, moderate fruit. Overall, there are better 2016s Left Bank wines at a similar price that drink well already. The question is, after improving over a couple of hours, whether the tannins will outlive the q elegant but reticent fruit. My money is elsewhere.

Light on the nose with fruits and spices. Very elegant palate with fresh lively balanced acid and discrete tannins. Clear cut and well made Bordeaux.
