An easy afternoon with close friends; 2016 Bordeaux (@ FD): Beautiful and aromatic bouquet with dark berries, sweet spices, oak, vanilla and some white pepper. On the palate a full bodied wine with a lot of dark berries, good acidity and fairly mild tannin. Give it 3+ years of additional ageing.

Creamy and round bouquet. On the palate beautiful red and dark berry fruits, mild and juicy acidity and tannin. Round and very youthful delicious wine.

I think this is just swell. Hits the tongue lightly then dances around with fruit and a bit of tannin pull. Good balance and complexity, only ding is a bit of a bitterness in the finish. Easy to overcome by just drinking more or eating something thereafter!

Young with potential but lovely now. Nose with blackberry, blueberry and oak. Tasty sweet fruit palate. Some tannins on the finish but overall a smooth wine.
