  • had this over a dinner and universally everyone thought it was excellent. Deep ruby in the glass with a near transparent pink-hued rim the wine is fragrant and fresh with an alluring bouquet. On the palate you get more freshness coupled with a typical Pauillac profile of black & dark red fruit, tobacco, some oak, herbs and graphite. A very pleasurable wine to drink. I went back to Spec's the next day and bought 3 more for around $45.00 -- a steal for this vintage & quality. Good chance I will buy more next week. I think it's ready to drink. Just pop/pour and let it open up in the glass for 10-15 minutes. Was good right out of the gate and pretty linear across the evening.

92 points -- excellent value Pauillac

    Would I buy again: yes

  • Shows more development than i assumed so glad I opened this one. Could be due to the fact that i bought this some years ago in the foire au vins, around 22 euros at that time. Blackberries, some smokey bell peper, leather, leaves and an herbal note. Very pleasant nose. Lacks a bit of concentration on the palate, but good freshness. Tannins completely integrated. Not to deeply coloured and clear signs of bricking. Quite classic indeed.

  • Pleasant Pauiliac without a wow factor. Medium body and medium finish with non-intrusive tannin

  • Crisp and bright. I think this needs a few more years still.

A well-balanced powerful Bordeaux. Blackcurrant, Cedar and vanilla on the palate. Medium alcohol contents (13.5%) with low to medium acidity and a slight almost imperceptible bricking at the rim which gives an impression of a mature wine. But there is still plenty of tanins so it should perform well for another 5-10 years. Classic Pauillac.
