  • Tasted overly restrained, despite several hours of decanting. Appreciate not being overly ripe but at the same time not giving much elsewhere either.

  • From glass. Lean, savory, and astringent. Fine of flavor and texture. Bartender said this wine was on its third day, and wasn't getting the sense that there was a lot of tannin blockage. Concede that some more open version of this glass would have impressed me more, but what I drank didn't.

  • Wanted to love it, but didn't. Found it muted and unbalanced. It provided some savory pleasure with the food, but really didn't deliver on any level. It could be because I didn't decant and only opened the bottle and left it open for an hour or so.
