  • Amazing Nebbiolo by one of the best producers of thé region and probably Italy.

  • Vineyard: Pora
    Surface Area: 10.7 hectares
    Exposure: South, Southwest
    Soil: Clay-limestone with sandy veins
Aging: 36 months in oak barrels, 12 months in the bottle
    Production: 16,666 bottles
Bright garnet red, intense aroma of cherries and licorice with balsamic sensations. Fresh and quite tannic on the palate, dry, fairly soft, warm, savory, balanced, and full-bodied, ready in its evolution and rather harmonious, with a good final persistence. Very young, but clearly showing an immense ageing potential.

  • Nuanced yet intense. Structural yet smooth. Love it as usual.

  • Tasted at the Produttori with Aldo Vacca. PnP unfortunately. Translucent medium ruby color. Nose was muted at first but with aggressive swirling it showed floral and spice notes as well as red cherry and plummy fruit notes. High in acid and tannin. Rich and chewy texture with dark cherry and lots of savory elements on the palate. Balanced and full of energy. This seems like a very "complete" wine, everything is there and in place , it just needs time in the cellar.

  • Apperance: Pale Ruby.
Nose:Med+intensity, cranberry, raspberry, sandle wood, cinammon, perfume, rose extract, forest floor, mint, leafy, black olive, red plum, developing.
Palate: Dry, high acidity, high alcohol, high tannins, med+ body, med+intensity, still very closed on the palate after three hours decanting. Hard to decide finish as the wine is still too closed. We will see how it goes tomorrow after bottle decant over night.
Day 2 after 20 hrs bottle decanting, the wine opens up on the palate with pure and perfumed red fruit, minty and savoury notes particularly at the finish. Great balance between high acidity and fruits with depth and complexity. The finish is medium plus. Still way too early to drink, but can taste the potential.
