Opened for Brad's BDay @ Antoines. Up front cherry and boysenberry fruit with tannins so integrated there was barely a hint of oak. Smooth long finish, ready upon opening and didn't seem to change much in the hour of consumption. Very chunky sediment on the end from this obviously unfiltered wine. Just excellent!

P: Med body; RNDISH entry with NICE, ALMOST swtish frt met by some astringent pucker which loses the BULK of its bite by the LONG, Slightly spicy finish with a tangy/SWTNESS to the dusty tannins. Deserves/needs into '20, then drinking for 3-4 yrs more. My EXC-. 93 pts WS. [This vendor's $69.99 puts it in the top 1/3 of wine-searcher's postings.]

Good berry aromas, medium violet color, medium ripe fruit. Lots of alcohol that's not very integrated. Unbalanced, short on fruit, can't see time being on the side of this wine. Three days to finish...unimpressed.

Great QPR! Man I hope I learn what qpr means...I feel like it means I'm glad it tastes better than rat piss...but that's inferring on my part.
