Smokey barnyard with bright red strawberryish fruit. Floral, fresh and spiced of cinnamon. In the mouth, it has a savory core surrounded by a shell of fresh bright red fruit. High acidity and a nice melange of flavors. Very very good

Ever so slightly reductive out of the gate, but seductive even then; pellucid pink-red in hue, closer to rosé than to a red wine; tongue-prickle; smoke abates with time, but traces remain: smoky, salty, leafy, tangy, bricky pickle enchantment. Birthday dinner at Frances and all were delighted; got better with every extra minute of air. (Day 2: still going, reduction vastly diminished, though also still showing traces of smoked seaweed.) A wine that's definitely not for everyone, but that lit up a wide range of palates at the table (including my not-that-naturalista-leaning wife's).

Didn’t really take notes, drank a glass at a bar. But this was excellent, fresh, light, spritzy, elevated acidity. Looks like this vintage’s cuvée is a different blend including both Gamay and Chardonnay.

Aroma of cherry and some earthy spices. Palate begins with lots of acidity that starts to mellow with time, juicy with great minerality.
