An evening with George (Bistro Cocotte, Haberfield): Black hued fruit with a fair lick of spicy oak, aa little jubey underpin but also liquorice, slightly over extracted, red fruit notes underpins this. Juicy, savoury, quite woody over black hued fruit, again that sense of slight over-extraction. It's a touch bit overwrought.

Boulder Burgundy Festival 2019 with Adam M ~ Definitely the most expensive bottle tasted to-date. Enjoyed it, not really qualified to commentate. ~ Definitely got the burgundy mushroom but it was more restrained than other bottles and I think probably has more fruit than I would’ve expected too.
Olivier Bernstein Cellar Visit and Barrel Tasting (Beaune): Barrel tasting. Black cherry throughout, very meaty. Nicely balanced with very good length. Good textures and weight, moderate complexity so far at this early stage. Good+ for its level.

During the La Paulée in Zurich, so no detailed tasting notes. Very young, dense dark fruit, some oak to integrate still. Polished tannins.

Degustation Burgund 2016, Martel (Martel am Bellevue): Gefiel mir besser als der Clos de Vougeot von Bernstein. Schon wirklich lecher, über die Preise sprechen wir lieber nicht...
