Had a weird craving I just had to give in to - a juicy red steak (cooked sous vide) followed by a nice glass of explosive marmalade fruit bomb. Normally I tend to favour wines with a more crisp and lean flavour profile. I don't like wines that are too jammy and sweet. But this wine is just pretty darn delicious. Drinking this wine almost feels as "wrong" as smoking water pibe - so sweet yet quite nasty :-) Black currant and black cherries. Sweet tobacco and sweet english liquorice, what's not to like? :-)

Very nice bottle, as is so often the case with Teusner great bang for buck. It is what you would expect from a Barossa Cab, high fruit high alcohol, but the balance is definitely there. Not one for laying down I would not think.
