ordered this bottle at Row 34 in Boston, was a big hit to pair with the myriad of different raw seafood dishes. nice driving minerality plus nice balance of orchard fruit on the palate/finish.

Tasted blind and mistaken for an Austria Riesling. Mid intensity nose of fresh, not quite ripe pineapple, a bit of minerality and petrol with the pineapple translating nicely to the palate. Good balance keeping acidity in check and a pleasant texture.
The inital tropical fruit profile transformed into a more citric character over time in the glass and a bit of hay appeared. Intensity was easily maintained, but the palate came across just a tad flat - this was after 2h only, however.

Floral notes on the nose. the palate shows notes of ripe pear, quince, yellow apple. Fruit is dropping off and acidity is medium. Drink now this will not improve

Delicious GV really in its prime. Lush and thick, bit of oak, yellow apples, some grass, well balanced acidity, noticeable length.
