  Light crimson-red, it presented an enchanting nose of cherries & strawberries, no hint of stalkiness, and followed on the palate with fine soft tannins, a respectable length finish and lovely balance. Oak was self-effacing in the extreme – its contribution was felt rather then tasted. A wonderful wine indeed.
