  As others have said, a very pleasant surprise. Really the only fault is the short finish, and maybe a missing wow factor. Nose is berry and spice, almost Italian. Perfect structure with enough tannins to give it plenty of body but still a soft and supple wine. Drinks on the fruitier, bright berry side of pinot. Very easy to gulp. Everybody would like this.

  Blue and red fruits on the nose, cherry, blueberry, blackberry. Grippy, grainy, stemmy. Spicy and herbaceous.

  Very savoury, needs a few more years in the cellar. Very good with 3 hours of air minimum prior to consuming.

  Now here's a surprise, lifted dark fruits and spice w/ complexity & depth. The fruit is quite sweet but it has good energy and length. Enjoyed this more than I thought I would.
