PnP. Medium dark red. Dark fruits on the nose; rather austere on the palate with more dark fruit and significant tannins and acidity on the finish, This could improve with age but not really sure. Disappointing.

Interesting granola character stands out in the restrained bouquet. Very polished berry compote palate. Long finish. Not quite awake yet.

Heavy and closed, with a hint of oxidation. Dark savoury flavours of earth and leather, plenty of oak, and some berry fruit, but all very tightly-packed. Seemed to have potential, but didn't open up after over an hour in the glass.

Pinotpalooza (Carriageworks, Redfern): cheesy and meaty, a little gamey, black hued fruit. On the palate it's tart with tight tannins. Meh.
