- kandahar - thin, weak - opened a second bottle and it seemed a bit better; also seemed a bit different; but still thin - suspect the wine might be fake - 250 pesos

I found this to be pretty spectacular for a 2003 wine. Creamy, onctuous, but with great balance, and good length. Good use of oak. All in all a beautiful bottle. I generally like wines to be more restrained, but this is an exception to this rule. I rate this quite a bit higher than other CT users. wish I had more. 92 pts

I was surprised this was still holding up so well. Very intense fruit typical of great Argentine Malbecs. Powerful wine with good balance. Tannins were present but soft. Good evolution on the palate with a sweet vanilla/oak influence on the finish.

Nice - plummy fruit flavor up front with good mouth feel - a bit acidy/thin in mid palate - but nice long smooth slightly sweet aftertaste
