I've been saving this bottle for a bit over 2 years now and I'm glad I did. It developed earthy notes of leather, tobacco and the fruit is still there. Very elegant, not an over the top new world wine. There's black currant, cassis and black cherry. Supple on the palate with a nice drying finish. Great offering.

medium purple color. lots of mocha, chocolate and blackberry reduction sauce on the nose. yummy nose.full-bodied with lots of toast, vanilla, mocha, blackberry, jam and cocoa powder. nutmeg and oak on the finish. a lush wine, but this has serious tannic structure. it smoothed out a lot after being opened for a full day. this could last for another five years easily. it's not filtered, so decant. but i recommend letting this sit for several more years. 60% cabernet and 40% merlot. 13.7% alcohol. aged 15 months in french oak, 75% new. if you're looking for this style of a bordeaux blend, this is a great qpr at $20 something.
