Very restrained on the nose. Faint aromas of violets and smoke. The pallet opens up with dark berry fruit flavors with hints of baking spices. Modern, harmonious and sleek. Full bodied with chewy tannins.

Dark purple. Blackberries and blueberries on the nose. Maybe a little leather? Something else on the nose that I can’t place (not entirely pleasant). Maybe green stems?
Taste is smooth. Moderate tannins. Great expression of great.

A very respectable and enticing RDD young Tempranillo. I think this even has the capacity to flesh out and improve with several years time.
Poured a rich purple hue. A touch of pleasing Brett/funk on the nose which dissipated after 30 minutes or so. Violets, dark berries, loam, and some menthol on the nose.
Medium to full palate presence with blackberry and assorted dark fruit. Tannin a bit rough and not integrated at this early age. Best paired with food to coax out its charm. Not overly complex or distinctive, but for a sub $20 wine it is an excellent value. Approaches the entry level Malleolus in its enjoyment for half the price. Excellent weekday wine for hearty/meat based dishes.

Dark violet purple. Thin bodied. Dark glycerin fruit forward and then iron and earth.

Fresh berry fruit in the nose; tart on the palate; went very well with grilled sirloin. Holding up very well for a 2015.
