Splash decant/aerate. TIghtly wound with acids and tannins dominating the tempranillo fruit in this moment. After two hours open, notes of soil/grape and place began to emerge. Needs more time, but even then, I'm not certain there'll be enough fruit to balance it all out. Give it plenty of air or HOLD. NR

color: ruby with a slight lean toward brown nose: nothing of note palate: tannins for days. does have some fruit on mid body, but tannins not well integrated. overall: not the best balance, but good value.

Ripe and salty fruit to it. Short on the mid, a bit hard after these years. And mineral. Either more serious than I think or a bit of a rough ride.
