  • RF brought to CKH tasting. Deep gold color. Floral nose, with notes of petrol, honeysuckle and honey. On the sweet side, but not at all cloying due to very solid acidity level. White fruit, perhaps some apple and honey here. Very nice depth and concentration here. Pleasingly long finish. I liked this wine, particularly with the mousse appetizer.

  • Q2 - 2019 Tasting - Alsatian White Varieties from around the World (New York, NY): 2/17 wines tasted double blind. The nose on this had quite a bit of petroleum. On the palate this seemed overly sweet and flabby - no structure or supporting acidity. Not a style for me. Interesting - this was clearly one of my least favorites but was overall the most popular with 12 pennies.

  • Q2 2019 Tasting - Alsatian White Varietals (The Apt): Wine #2: Another favorite for me for this tasting. This is sweeter than number 1. It's got some pretty white flower petals. Maybe a hint of honey. Very fresh and yet you can tell that there's some age there (not sure why that is, maybe something about the depth of the flavors?). Again though very easy to drink and a wine that can also be a side piece. Very enjoyable. (12 pennies)
